Hello from YZ Consulting – April 2022
Before Christmas we wrote “What a year it has been”, now we’re tempted to write “What a 3 months” it has been!
Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, unprecedented floods in Australia with thousands of houses destroyed, and a global pandemic that still keeps us on our toes every day.
- We delivered the “Hunter Renewables for Businesses” webinar series, jointly organised with Go Circular; more than 20 local businesses were in attendance to learn about implementing renewables; more here.
- We helped to register 115 MW Metz Solar Farm, allowing the project to start commissioning and generation of electricity; provided as part of our consulting for transmission service provider Lumea/Transgrid; more here.
- We started on an exciting engagement with Newcastle-based software company switchDin to deliver Virtual Power Plants, aggregating solar and battery systems at thousands of homes; more to come on this, see here for one of the projects we are working on.
